Lincoln criminal trial lawyer John Stevens Berry Sr. has agreed be a storyteller at the second TRUE STORIES - LIVE! John is a decorated Vietnam veteran who has tried a wide variety of cases, from murder to the largest drug bust in the history of Japan.
True Stories - Live! is proud to announce the first speaker for a storytelling encore Feb. 2 at the Haymarket Theatre -- Lincoln photographer Wesaam Al-Badry. The theme of the night is "Second Chances." Al-Badry's stunning black and white photographs of the first True Stories - Live! appear on this website. When he was seven, Wesaam and his family fled Iraq during the first Gulf War. They spent six years in a Saudi Arabia refugee camp before coming to the United States.
